Provincial Flower
Phayom

Phayom is a middle and large sized tree growing
to be up to 15-20 meters with a crown shape. Its bark
is grey, Its wood is yellow and hard. The bark of trunk
is broken along the length and it is rough. Leaves are
oval and sharp at the tip. Its base is rounded and
their edge is smooth. The back of leaves shows a
clear vein. Its flowers are very bushy. The top of flower
contains three petals. The bottom of the petal connects
with the twig. The blossom is rounded. The petal is
smooth and curved a little. It is yellow and has a
pleasant smell.
